John P. Petrozzino brings over 12 years of experience in trust and estates and closely-held business planning/administration. John focuses on tax planning for his clients and holds a masters in the laws of taxation (LL.M.). John’s clients range from people who need help with their medicaid planning and applications to ultra high net worth individuals needing a variety of complex tax saving strategies, such as: Generation-Skipping Dynasty Trusts, Insurance Trusts, Grantor Retained Annuity Trusts (GRATs), Spousal Lifetime Access Trusts (SLATs) and planning with Captive Insurance Companies. John also brings experience in estate litigation, including experience with beneficiary disputes and contested guardianships.
John is also well-versed and counsels clients in all types of commercial real estate, secured lending and sophisticated business transactions, including the representation of individuals, businesses, and commercial banks in a variety of different settings. John was a member of the Montville Zoning Board of Adjustments and has experience representing clients in front of municipal boards to achieve their development goals, such as obtaining variances and site plan approvals.
Prior to joining the firm, John worked in the trust & estate department at a top 25 accounting firm and also as a wealth and estate planning strategist for a multi-national brokerage firm, where he passed his Series 7, 66, 9 and 10 FINRA exams. John’s clients benefit from his diverse financial and tax experience.
