Ryan Sylvia brings a decade of broad experience representing clients in all varieties of commercial real estate transactions. Ryan works with lenders and borrowers on all phases of commercial loan transactions secured by real estate and other forms of collateral. Ryan also has experience with loan workouts, including loan modifications, forbearance agreements, and loan extensions.
Ryan has extensive experience negotiating, drafting, and reviewing commercial lease agreements on behalf of landlords and tenants. He regularly negotiates, drafts, and reviews leases for retail space, apartment buildings, multi-family dwellings, restaurants, shopping centers, and mixed-use spaces.
Ryan also represents investors, developers, and buyers/sellers in real estate transactions, including negotiation and drafting contracts of sale, and working with 1031 qualified intermediaries on tax deferred like-kind exchanges. Utilizing his vast knowledge of real estate law, Ryan has successfully represented hundreds of buyers and sellers in real estate transactions.
Ryan’s practice also includes counseling clients in a wide range of business matters, including business formation, corporate structuring, mergers and acquisitions, sales, trademarks, and licensing agreements.
Ryan also has experience participating in and presiding over dispute resolution sessions. He has completed the 40-hour training program in divorce mediation through the New Jersey Association of Professional Mediators and Civil Mediation training via the Superior Court of the State of New Jersey. He is also a licensed New Jersey Real Estate Agent and member of the National Association of Realtors.
